From Essay To Multiple Choice - Testing In Prince 2
Prince 2 used to be tested in an essay based exam. However, since 2007, they have revamped their testing and now utilize multiple choice tests for the Practitioner exam. Some people believe this may be making the tests too easy to pass, but that is not true. Although the new format for the exam is multiple choice, it is thorough in its coverage of knowledge learned from the course. It is still a three hour test and the student has to come to the test with a wide range of understanding of how to apply the principles learned to real life situations. The one difference that stands out is that, other than the prince2 manual, no other information is allowed during the test.
