Some Retirement Plans Are Not As Simple As They Seem
Like most financial retirement products, understanding how a simple IRA works is not always simple to everybody. It is important to have a clear understanding of the plan in order to make an informed decision about your retirement future. First, if an employer decides to establish a simple IRA retirement plan in which it matches the employees’ contributions, the employee will have to make a contribution in order to benefit from the plan. Alternately, if an employer decides to participate in the non-elective IRA, employees do not have to make a contribution in order to have access to the plan.
