We use our 12 volt sump pump all the time.
My family and I have a boat, and we use it for a variety of activities. Sometimes my husband and I will take the boat out just to relax on the water. My husband takes my sons fishing all the time. My daughter likes us to take her and her friends out so that they can swim and lie on the boat to tan in the sun. We have taken our friends and our childrens' friends waterskiing on several occassions too. When a lot of people are in and out of the boat or when the waves reach very high levels, we are bound to get a lot of water on the boat. We use our 12 volt sump pump all the time. When we are out on the boat and the pump is running, we don't have to worry about the water level and if it is reaching dangerous levels.
