As a child I was taught that we live in a society where people are generally interdependent on each other and require the help of others for survival. I was given so many examples that included our parents, who bring us up, engineers who build roads and bridges for us, lawyers, who helped us to solve our disputes, architects, who design our houses and doctors, who help us to keep healthy. Of all these professionals, the profession that drew my maximum attention was that of a doctor. I always thought of doctors as general physicians who sense our pulses and give medicines for fever. But once, I found a general physician, and much too my surprise, he was carrying some General Surgical Instruments. As I grew up I learnt that doctors specialize in certain fields and they always carry certain important surgical instruments for minor surgeries.
