The Atmospheric Water Generator Basement Dehumidifiers in View
There is a special type of dehumidifier called an ‘Atmospheric water generator’ that is used in relatively dry areas like deserts in order to extract potable drinking water from the little humidity present in the air. These work very much like any other basement dehumidifiers with the distinction that the distilled water gathered is usually filtered or made to undergo some sort of process that removes solid particles like spores from it. Some make use of UV lights instead to kill bacteria. They are now standard for providing drinking water in disaster situations.
